I was in grad school at the time. Had a side-hustle as lead guitar in an alt-rock mostly cover band. We had a female lead singer for about half our songs and this was one of our favorites to play, for sure!
being 25 and having a video on mtv alongside so many other girl-led bands in the nineties still seems like a dream
