Voter suppression has been happening in TX forever. They tried in Nov. During a state level ballot, my status was suspended bc I “must have moved and new address wasn’t verified”. I haven’t moved in years.

What is true?

I’m a woman of color with a fully ethnic name who doesn’t vote MAGA.

Deranged chaos agent RFK Jr recently went on a propaganda podcast and admitted that he’s not scared of germs because he used snort cocaine off of toilet seats.

We went from actual medical professionals leading US Health to this demented repugnant asshole wanting to kill us all.

Trump can fly to Bragg, give a campaign rally in front of uniformed troops, and tell them how to vote—and that’s just “patriotic.” But 6 veterans in Congress remind the same troops they must refuse illegal orders, and his DOJ tries to brand it sedition. It’s authoritarian hypocrisy.

A subcommittee of Iowa lawmakers has recommended passage of a bill that would once again allow judges and prosecutors to charge defendants court fees in dismissed cases. The practice was ended by a state Supreme Court ruling last month.
In Iowa, Prosecutors Want to Bring Back Court Fees as Bargaining Chips
The state’s high court recently ended the practice of making defendants pay fees for charges that get dismissed. Prosecutors are backing legislation to undo the court’s ruling so they can keep using fees as leverage for plea deals.

This is concerning, that a rep feels they must post this. A lot in our coalition has felt the same way and worried about it, but didn’t think we’d be here publicly.

There are reports that ICE was at South Station in Boston, taking photos of everyone coming off the trains.

Photos. Of everyone.

When we get rid of this administration, we must also insist on destroying whatever sinister database these fucks are feeding.

May this one day happen to them.
On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

One thing I can't seem to understand, legally, is why a federal judge can't order DHS to allow any member of Congress to enter any ICE facility unimpeded, even without notice of arrival.

Congress represents the People. They are how we learn truths about our Government. It's their duty to inspect.

Gun Owners of America is lobbying Congress to pass the SAVE Act, which would require a majority of Americans to show a passport to register to vote.

But GOA opposes any law that requires showing a drivers license to buy a gun.
