It is absolutely crucial to understand that the idiotic version of a market economy which we all live under makes 99.9% of us poorer, more stressed, and just generally worse off than we would otherwise be.

The difference between the start of the internet and the current AI cocaine frenzy is I don’t remember feeling forced and prodded so hard to use the internet. It was new, cool, connective. We WANTED to use it.
AI is more like: they NEED us to use it.
That difference says everything.

That was hands down the best halftime show ever. It was filled with so many references to Puerto Rican culture and history. The sugarcane fields, the casita, the streets of NYC, and the power lines. All of it resonated so much. Boricua por siempre.
