Yesterday, I took a trip to the Jasper-Pulaski Fish & Wildlife Area in Indiana. Not much in the way of hiking trails bc the area is largely for hunting and fishing.
It is, however, where the Sandhill Cranes stop on their trip to/from Georgia and Florida.
There were LOTS of deer, too.

Me: Do it the first week of Thanksgiving. Trees are not done dropping.
Trees drop leaves day after Thanksgiving.
Snow starts.
Gutters are not getting cleaned for a while, so holidays lights and the giant dragon are not going up.
Ugh.
