Church no longer has the choice of sitting on the side and watching the world suffer (under debt, not due to any disability). As Christians it is our responsibility to care for our neighbors; addressing medical debt and the burdens unfairly placed on individuals and families with medical needs.
While the church often helps children with medical complexities in acute ways, advocates say more must be done to address the systemic burdens placed on families.
