Here we go again – MAGA Republicans are trying to recall Democratic leaders here in California. Homelessness is DOWN. Homicides are DOWN. Shootings are DOWN. That’s all because of Mayor Bass. We need to shut this #MAGARecall DOWN. www.latimes.com/california/s...

Any recall effort would need to gather valid signatures from 15% of registered voters, or about 330,000 overall.

Written right there in the Constitution.

The President cannot change that with the stroke of a pen.

It's happening!
LEAD CHANGE: Democrat Adam Gray is now ahead of GOP Rep. John Duarte in #CA13.

By 105 votes.

This is after a big update from Merced County.

Let's keep curing those ballots. #CountEveryVote #BGCA #BattlegroundCA
To recap, for those following at home, the 3 closest major races with ballots left to count right now are:

—Alaska, referendum to repeal RCV: the 'no' leads by 45 votes statewide

—#CA45: Derek Tran now leads GOP Rep Steele by 314 votes

—#CA13: GOP Rep. Duarte leads Dem Adam Gray by 227 votes

and... boom. A strong batch of ballots for Democrats in Merced County, unlike the disappointing batch for them 30 minutes ago in Stanislaus:

Dem Adam Gray wins this batch by 12%, nets 1337 votes.

GOP Rep. Duarte now leads districtwide by 227 votes.

Good news for Derek Tran, the Democrat in #CA45: Today's update in Orange County netted him 207 votes.

His lead district-wide over GOP Rep. Steel is now 314 votes.

Still roughly 7K ballots left in OC (plus a sprinkling in LA).
