There was a nature poetry evening at our public library tonight. So amazing to be a in room with 50-odd other people, just listening to words (and some music!) There were tears and laughter. Nods and murmurs of appreciation. Applause. Hugs. Smiles of recognition, promises of a catch-up soon

Instead, it's nameless hundreds. So they are numbers, not people. It's so utterly heartbreaking, dehumanising, enraging, unjust

On tiny dog figurines found buried under a palace in Nineveh, Iraq are inscriptions that seem to be names.

Yesterday, I returned from 3 weeks in Costa Rica, where I went to find out what can be learned from their spectacular success rewilding a country.

A gay guy, a Black man, and a woman walk into a flight deck— that’s not the beginning of a joke, but just a regular day at work! There was so much DEI on this plane that we could hardly get in the air. Luckily my limp wrists were able to wrestle the heavy jet back to the ground 💅🏼
