I say this with empathy toward every struggling actor who is just trying to make due:
Providing your voice for A.I. undermines everyone in the industry. It is a net negative, that will only make it harder for you and everyone else down the line.

“But in ARC Raiders the GenAi voices were officially sanctioned by the actors! And so did Fortnite!” - and their agreement to this undermines everything the rest of us Voice Actors, our union, and other industries have been fighting against.

I was looking at Stranger's old art and I realized his outfit doesn’t quite "pop". I changed the colours of his pants & shirt and I think he looks much better now.

Had plans to go out for a grocery run today. But it turns out Dad had a doctor’s appointment today. Since my parents never go out to do just one thing, I’m going to put a pin on making my own grocery run until tomorrow just in case they come home with groceries today.

If your game has voice acting, then working with the voice actors is half of your writing process. It's not complete until you've heard it interpreted and reimagined by a voice actor. And they always reimagine it in ways that elevate the writing, in ways you never would have imagined yourself.

As an artist myself, I find this incredibly depressing.
I spotted this on Mastodon and I find it horrible, not least for the speed with which this has happened.

My group's finally back in the swing of things for this campaign after one of our members had to recover from major surgery she had done in August. We get to play again this Sunday.

Not a game, but I had an idea for a novel a while back. It was about a girl travelling the post-apocalypse after magic came back. With society overturned by magical mayhem, she was trying to rescue her father with the help of two vampires. Enclosed, one of the vampiric protagonists.
