Virtually everyone “indoctrinates” their children because children, by nature, will believe anything their parents tell them. Even if parents tell them to weigh each side carefully, this is an ideological approach to life that not everyone has but their child will accept readily.

🧵time— I’m gonna go on a limb here, but before I do, I want to make clear I’m not trying to justify or endorse any of the ideas in this discourse, ESPECIALLY the main character on Twitter that sparked all this.

Basically, I don’t think this post is right or wrong.

Time to start telling on myself.
Racism actually is baked into our psyche. It's just another form of tribalism, which is (yes) a social norm but an evolved one.
They want people to believe racism is a natural reaction people learn to mask rather than a learned behavior people deploy at their convenience.
