I always think of Star Trek Generations as a holiday movie. It has a christmas scene in it but I think the themes it reaches for actually feel in line with the holidays.

the truth is before gAI we've been using AI scripts to automate repetitive or inefficient tasks just fine for decades, gAI makes those same tasks absolutely impossible or dangerous to do. it basically rendered decades of technology unusable. and it kills the planet and ruins economies as it does it.
