Is there any profession that's flakier than accountants ? I've worked with 5 companies over 10 years, and have yet to find one that's not continually late with documents, fails to file things, needs constant chasing up... Anyone had a different experience with accountants?

They're anti women's rights. Anti Muslim rights. They're anti gay rights. They're anti trans rights. They're anti minorities in general.

A/P [Feb 5] -- Bills have been introduced in Arizona, Connecticut, Georgia, Kentucky, Montana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Texas & Virginia that would cut off public funding for gender affirming care for _adults_. Georgia's is the first to advance out of committee.

I just got extorted for £25 by the Times - foolishly clicked a trial membership to access one 1924 article from the archive.
It makes me think how, in my own business, I would NEVER resort to grubby tactics like this to squeeze money from folk.
Somehow the big corporations do it every day.

Driving home from tonight's gig was bizarre... I saw one otter, before I'd even left town; then two snow-white arctic hares on a 20m drive. Usually wait weeks to see even one of those!

Is Bluesky just a vacuum to shout in now?
I started 'Sessions and Sail' in 2018 - a series of tall-ship voyages taking musicians to sea and celebrating the music and culture of Scotland (and beyond!)
I'm super proud of this project, and the way it's developing - we now have El Roderick on board as Bursary Scheme manager (1/2)

I had a v nice breakfast at this cafe in Aberdeen. (Belmont Street - Go!) The family that run it are great, and absolutely passionate about good Venezuelan food.
Had a lovely chat with Glenda about food, Scotland, family, Venezuela. Came away with such a positive feeling going into my day.
