Ironically, it’s a little like Trek characters going back in time to 2022 LA and people not knowing the Vulcan salute. Just. Com’on. You know.
There’s something about this show that expects that all participants (viewers, characters, creators) have avoided every other depiction of time travel in science fiction history.
For a show that’s asking us to take it dead seriously, this is a little hard for me to accept.

Okay, starting the Lazarus Project and is it just me, or is this the Anti-Trek?
Don’t get me wrong, there are redeeming qualities (it’s very pretty), but the idea that humans are so *spectacularly* bad at averting world ending cataclysm is completely antithetical to humanistic utilitarianism.
