one interesting thing about my music “consumption” over the years is that the range of platforms I use has increased as platform curation gets worse. Apple Music has no idea what I would like and Spotify leans into AI far too much. Long live NTS and Soundcloud!!

Starter packs are really a great counterpunch to algorithmic following recommendations. Turns out actual people are better than a snippet of code at suggesting who you might like to follow, and they actually enjoy doing it.
