Autoplaying videos was the beginning of the end for me engaging with Twitter so hopefully it doesn't destroy this place too. I will turn it off, but having that be the default sucks

Quick facts:

• Each post can contain one video.
• Videos can be up to 60 seconds long.
• By default, videos will auto-play. You can turn off auto-play in Settings.

Has everyone lost their minds on this blue super moon thing? First, it isn't a blue moon by the definition used in the articles (it isn't a second full moon in August), but also they just openly admit a quarter of moons are super now.

Sure, we had a great trip to Disneyland, but what I am really stoked about is my 7 year olds are demanding more Terry Pratchett after I put on Equal Rites on the drive home

If you find a fawn curled up hiding in a field LEAVE IT ALONE! The mother is in the area and will return. If you pick up the fawn and take it to be rescued you are the one killing it.
ok i have another quote tweet prompt. what's something, big or small, related to your job or hobby, that most people don't know that you would like to have them know? it can be a concept, a piece of history, some vocabulary, or something else.

56% of Americans say the US economy is in recession, which it isn't, but that's a technical term, and maybe some mean "things are expensive."

But 49% thinking the stock market is down when it's way up, and 49% thinking that unemployment is at a 50-year high when it's near a 50-year low, is insane.
Majority of Americans wrongly believe US is in recession – and most blame Biden
