And like it or not, that’s an insult to every single protest and movement that’s existed before. Mutual aid is not new. Legal observers are not new. Observing the police is not new. These are not groundbreaking concepts. They’re just being seen by the public in a way that might be new to them.

If anyone was wondering, the ~23% reduction in ICE agents in Minnesota apparently doesn't include the ones down the street that are lurking, now as I type this, as vulnerable folks are getting their kids to the school bus this morning.

We cannot rest until ICE is gone, entirely.

The headline should be, "DHS to keep 2,000 immigration officers in Minnesota."

Instead, it seems the entirety of the traditional media went with, "DHS to withdraw 700 immigration officers from Minnesota."

This presser worked like a charm.
Homan in Minneapolis: "Effective immediately, we will draw down 700 people effective today."

Wyden has a bill and has been putting pressure on Treasury to release records/files it's been hiding away regarding Epstein. There's no reason Bessent should be hiding financial records, tell congress to get those records.
I always assume you start first with following the money, and Senator Ron Wyden is doing that.

Alleged felons can get bail. They're presumed innocent, can go home, pending trial. Being in the US illegally is a civil offense, at worst a misdemeanor. So WHY are suspected illegal migrants, INCLUDING CHILDREN, in cement prisons, served worm-infested food, exposed to measles, denied medical care?!

What training manual in what agency instructs ICE agents that it's permissible to chase down a protestor and point a loaded gun at the top of their head while screaming at them?

We have to understand that ICE is being instructed by Trump to ignore law and convention and terrorize not police.

4. I’ve spent some time tracking and attending local populist responses to ai data centers. Despite some critiques from left that it’s all repackaged “nimby bullshit” (as I’ve been told), I have seen organic multiracial coalitions on this issue. Esp. in places with strong environmental racism orgs

One of the key things they did was use Nazi officials' braggadocious speeches as evidence.

Give a speech taking credit for annexing Austria? Ok, that'll be a conviction for annexing Austria.
As a Springfield, Ohio resident, I'm particularly touched that Judge Reyes used a screenshot of Kristi Noem'sTwitter feed 🤣
