“[Mamdani’s] presence wasn’t performative. It was pastoral. In a city that so often divides its grief by identity, he crossed the invisible line and simply showed up.”

I debated 20 far-far-far-right conservatives (racists? fascists?) on Jubilee's 'Surrounded.'

Here are some of the highlights of them unable to answer my basic questions or rebut the simplest of points. Not sure whether to laugh or cry.

Here's the full 'debate': www.youtube.com/watch?v=2S-W...

The 100 lowest-paying major US corporations spent $522B on stock buybacks from 2019 to 2023.

Buybacks artificially boost share prices and inflate CEO pay.

The typical worker at these companies earned just $34k.

Meanwhile, the average CEO was paid $14.7M.

See the problem?

US farmers sold $2 billion of food to USAID. Not any more.

- US farmers provided 41% of food delivered by USAID
- $340M of purchases/shipments are now paused. Over 680,000 tonnes.
- Food stranded in Houston
- Aid stopped in transit.

The world’s poor starving, food rotting & US farmers screwed.
Gutting USAID threatens billions of dollars for U.S. farms, businesses
U.S. businesses that sold goods and services to USAID are in limbo, including American farms dealing in rice, wheat and soybeans.

Stop fucking saying he blamed “DEI,” which is some abstract, non-tangible idea. He is blaming people of color having jobs he thinks they aren’t qualified for. He’s blaming race. He’s being racist every time he says it. Journalists need to get fucking backbones, my word.

My first zipcar trip was in a Kia Soul.

I find Some dents and lot of bird crap on a dirty exterior. The Interior is something special, a chocolate milkshake spilled into the passenger seat. I hope it's a milkshake but a bunch of way nastier possibilities come to mind. Very dirty floors too.
