I mean, we could tax wealth and redistribute it in a bid to create a more equitable society... but Keir Starmer does seems quite sensible, so maybe we should just squeeze disabled people and demonise immigrants and see what happens.
Wealth of the world’s 3,000 billionaires surged by $6.5tn (£4.8tn) in real terms over the past decade.

World's richest 1% gained $33.9tn in real terms.

Billionaires pay effective tax rate of 0.3% of their wealth.

Ultra-rich are major cause of poverty, pollution, corruption.

Need wealth tax now.

Amidst shameful media neglect of genocide in #Gaza, there has been a consistent exception: the UK’s Channel 4 News.

Today’s report on the daily killings by Israelis of the starving queuing for food aid.

Wait for the UN assessment at the end.

This is a difficult but essential watch. Pls share.

Starmer backs Trump’s bombing of Iran saying it ‘can never be allowed to develop nuclear weapon’.

Is UK going to be sucked into another US led war? No WMD in Iraq. Libya, Syria destabilised

Imperialist mentality of conquest, regime change causes more chaos.

If the world fails to get a grip on carbon emissions, by 2100 the temperature rise could be 4.3 degrees.

For Eastbourne, this will mean sea level rises of between 11- 43 inches. These models are reliable as they correlate well with historic data from tide gauges.
The sea is rising, Eastbourne will flood – what’s the plan?
Future flooding from the sea is now a reality. There are no clear long-term plans for this. What will this mean for towns like Eastbourne?

A 'Liz Truss moment' has now entered the lexicon as a short hand for a self-inflicted economic disaster.

Well done Liz, a truly historic premiership.
Why Liz Truss is starting to scare America
Scale of its debt means US can no longer discount a market meltdown similar to that which greeted the 2022 budget
