In Dismissing Georgia RICO Case, Peter Skandalakis Fabricates Jack Smith Conclusion - emptywheel
In his rationale dismissing the Georgia January 6 case, Peter Skandalakis misrepresents what Jack Smith said about the evidence against Donald Trump.

Putin aide Yuri Ushakov called the leaked chat with U.S. envoy Witkoff “very unusual,” blaming WhatsApp and hinting someone wanted it exposed. He claimed neither side wanted the leak, but compared it to the Flynn case, suggesting Witkoff might have enemies in D.C.

Yeah right.

Olivia Nuzzi’s Real Victims
More than her fiancé, or fellow female journalists, the public will pay the price for these misdeeds. RFK Jr. will see to that.

I'm telling you that the coverage of Trump's existing trials didn't move the dial and a DC case relying on Trump's top aides was going to be vulnerable to the same shitty coverage the Hunter Biden prosecution got.

Literally Jack Smith delivered a summary of his case 2 weeks before the election and almost no one covered it.

He would not be in prison right this second bc he'd be out on appeal.

There was NEVER going to be a way to DQ him by prison, even if he were charged the first day and that was not thrown out for lack of evidence.
Trump would be in prison right now if John Roberts didn’t save him from accountability

Trump’s healthcare plan looks a lot like extending subsidies for the ACA. You know, like the Democrats wanted in the first place.

Republicans are the lazy kid in a group project who tears shit up and hassles others for a week only to agree to sign-on on the last day to get a good grade.

The reason I talk so much about Democrats in rural America is because it’s key to taking the country back.

We can’t wring many more blue votes out of the cities. Come back to rural spaces. Run for office. Contest every race.

This is the way.

That's bc Chief Judge William Pryor and Trump appointee Andrew Brasher said much of what Trump wants to charge as CRIMINAL conspiracy is not one.
