I hate our gerontocracy so much. Schumer has got to go. This out of touch old man refuses to get a smartphone, even as people keep trying to hand him one.

sometimes i feel like the republican party is a big tornado that is coming to kill me. and the democratic party is the rickety shed that i'm hiding in. and i say "we should really fix this shed, because it's not doing much." and people say "what? why aren't you criticizing the tornado instead?!"

The filibuster is so fundamentally anti-democratic that forcing the authoritarian party to kill it so that they could keep taking health care and food away from Americans was probably the cleanest out from the damn thing, yet this Cones of Duneshire-ass opposition party loves rules more than wins.

You're supposed to find it lame and corny when people make art with the message "phone bad". However, you're also supposed to agree that phone bad.

I'm not worried about Trump. The Democrats have proven that the president does not have the power to make large changes. There will be some incremental tinkering with numbers at the margins, but mostly it will be business as usual. The ship of state turns slowly.

Stop protesting. It's the government. They are the authority. It is, by definition, incorrect to resist them.

It's not their fault. Democrats don't have some magic lever they can pull. They couldn't and can't actually do anything about this situation. Nonetheless, it's very important you keep voting for them so they can do something about this situation.

you can’t be the prodemocracy party and then fib to prevent the public from knowing what position your members of Congress actually took in order to shield them from accountability to voters.
Doesn’t matter that Schumer voted “no”. He got the Dem caucus on board with caving. THEN the caucus figured out who should vote yes to provide cover for D Sens up for reelection in 2026, who might have been in serious danger of being primaried. 2/

What has she ever done? Has she ever made the Hyperloop? You did. Has she ever invented self-driving cars? You did that. Has she ever taken humanity to Mars? That is an accomplishment you have pulled off, that she never will.
