Stephen Miller is a cornered animal now, so we can expect some spasms from the administration. But it is in the political death throes.

Most people who defend capitalism have no idea what it means. It's not trade. Trade existed millennia before anyone ever so much as thought about capitalism.

Capitalism is the idea that the economy should be entirely run by a handful of rich assholes like Musk, Zuckerberg, etc., for THEIR profit.

The only justification anyone needs for accessing health care is that they need it. The only justification anyone needs for accessing an abortion is that the don't want to be pregnant any longer. The reasons are inconsequential. There should be no patient facing laws around accessing abortion care.
Kathleen Stock has written an article against "abortion permissiveness". She claims abortion requires "justification" saying the state should limit "unacceptable decision-making" by women about their own bodies.

This is who anti-trans activists proclaim as the feminist thought leaders of our time.

The thing that most holds us back is being next door to the colossal, habitual fuckups of the US. You can't try to improve anything without someone chastising you that we're already better than the US so why bother?

In Canada we have no laws around hate iconography. The United States was actually better than us in this regard but it's so much worse to revoke an existing law rather than just have an absence of it.
The swastika, the fascist symbol of Nazi Germany, that killed hundreds of thousands of Americans, tens of millions of innocent people, is now embraced by the US.

Under a new Coast Guard policy, the swastika is no longer a “hate symbol,” just “potentially divisive.”
Meanwhile, Republicans are furious that Dems reminded the military that they should disobey illegal orders. In effect, the GOP accepts the Nazis’ Nuremberg defense: “just following orders.” 🧵 1/

Smith is a malignant cunt, how's that for after work hours?
"Smith dubbed the legislation 'the Peterson bill,' referring to psychologist Jordan Peterson, who was sanctioned in 2022 by the College of Psychologists of Ontario for statements he made online that it said may be 'degrading' and called the profession into disrepute." #ableg #abpoli #cdnpoli
