As a professor of English, allow me to try, humbly and with the proper respect, to offer an appropriate response to the President’s address:

Fuck you, you fucked-up fuck, and fuck all the fuckers who willingly fuck with you, especially. You can all fuck all the way off, and then fuck off some more.

DOGE's spending has been secret.

No longer.

My colleagues have uncovered it.

A lot of career federal workers were illegally removed from their jobs this week. Your work matters and you matter.

If you’re a federal worker in energy who lost your job and want a resume review or a zoom to brainstorm your next move or just complain, my door is open. 💡🔌

I read The Hot Zone as part of my required reading in 10th grade. It changed everything about the way I think about epidemiology.

I still have that book and will let my kid read it in a few years. The CDC matters. Science fucking matters.

The EIS is critical to our safety. What the hell.

How did anyone live through Covid and think...nah. Fuck the CDC.

I'm chronically ILL and broken from the pandemic. I NEED science. You will, too. Maybe not now. But you will. Don't cut your nose off to spite your face.
It's incredibly disheartening to hear about dedicated public health professionals getting mass-laid off from CDC. Including first year epidemic intelligence service officers. This program has been the backbone of outbreak investigations in US since 1951. Decimating this workforce makes us less safe.

Print hard copies.

Elon Musk still has a $1.8 billion SPACE X contract with NRO.

Cut that contract NOW. He is a threat to national security. Period.
Thanks to Elon Musk and DOGE, our adversaries now have access to sensitive information about one of our intelligence agencies.

Elon Musk and DOGE staff should NOT have access to sensitive national security information. www.huffpost.com/entry/elon-m...

Trying my best to take care of my community and myself, so I'm just reading this great read from The Bitter Southerner.

If you don't understand USAID, Kristina does a beautiful job describing it. I'm grateful to the work she and her colleagues have done.
With the gutting of USAID comes the end of a vital lifeline for millions. Kristina Drye ( a now former USAID worker/ speech writer for Samantha Power ) shares what’s facing Americans and the nightmarish ripple effect being felt around the globe.

Rather than trying to keep Elon out, pre-empt him so he cant miss characterize spending.

Hell yeah. Hold the line. This is what we need people to do.

Slow things down, don’t comply in advance so the courts have time to stop them. It’s starting to work.
Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

My father would be ashamed that he gave up his life and future for this country, but NOT the Constitution.

Thank you. I hope we can be friends again someday.
