More than that. "The FBI ***recorded*** Tom Homan taking the money "after indicating he could help the agents — who were posing as business executives — win government contracts in a second Trump administration."
Tom Homan was investigated for accepting $50,000 from undercover FBI agents. Trump's DOJ shut it down.

The FBI and Justice officials closed the investigation, which a Justice Department appointee had called a “deep state” probe in early 2025.

I'm out of DC and a 65-ish black guy saw my DC plates and commented on the national guard presence. He told me he was a cop for 25 years and very pro law enforcement, but hates what they're doing with the National Guard in DC. Really hasn't hit elite media how broadly unpopular this stuff is.

This is good: With Trump/RFK destroying CDC, JB Pritzker's officials are exploring the possibility of buying Covid vaccines from manufacturers and distributing them in-state themselves, source tells me.

Dem govs must step up and fill the void.

Like, to emphasize how absurd this is, we're talking about planes that (1) are visible on public flight trackers, and (2) were met by camera crews in El Salvador as part of a large-scale media operation.

This wasn't a secret military deployment, for Christ's sake.
!! NEW: DOJ demands that the DC Circuit immediately reassign the case from Judge Boasberg, calling his questions "flagrantly improper" storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

The way authority is used in this brief is utterly bananas—citing out of circuit precedent without the least explanation of context, reaching back to an 1850 opinion by Justice Taney (which held the president can’t annex territory unilaterally) for a banal observation that he’s commander in chief.
Well, here we go. DOJ has quite a filing, providing what it says is a “response” to the questions, and asking Boasberg to cancel today’s hearing. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

DOJ goes to the D.C. Circuit, essentially saying Chief Judge Boasberg acted improperly by … asking questions about whether they followed a court order. This is wildly uncalled for and should be immediately rejected. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

A US-born citizen was walking near Chicago in January. ICE snatched him off the street, handcuffed him, threw into a van. His wallet, which contained his ID, was confiscated. He was detained for 10 hours before being released without a record of what occurred.

Stephen Miller also spent the last four years suing Biden in district court.

I am filled with contempt for the people who think this is an acceptable way for America to treat an ally. They deserve a ignorant, thuggish government, but regrettably they have inflicted it on all of us.

Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1k/month. A year later, nearly half had housing.

They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.

The report estimates that this reduction in public service use SAVED the city $589k.
