Apogoitef, Aganakti and Amichania personifying Dismay, Exasperation and Embarrassment.
Known as The Three Facepalms.

(A strange moment from the 'history stack' of an old hard drive.)

I wonder whether I'd been on medication? Or off it 😆

Yesterday's view ahead.
The view above was blue (and I haven't downloaded it yet 😄)

Fifty years ago, I'd have KILLED to take photos like this.
Well.
Ok.
I'd have been willing to say something slighting about somebody's hair to take photos like this, fifty years ago.
It's just down to the hagling really🥴

It's all very well to be enthusiastic
but it might seem a little too drastic
It would even make a cat sick
to be overly enthusiastic

COOL!!! I have Winamp back.

The first mp3 player I ever installed, back in... When? 1998, maybe?

I've missed those visualisations :-D

A little late for Halloween, but... 😄

I was 'putting away' after dinner, looked down at the chopping board and realised that a pair of Edible Eyes(tm) would be a perfect addition.

I'm not sure WHAT titles would be suitable for a bell pepper slasher movie...
Sweeney Podd, perhaps?

Do you think vampires fly into mirrors the same way birds fly into windows because they can’t see their reflections?

I've often said, when it comes to which side of the bed is mine, that I prefer to sleep on the top.

Obligatory Blade Runner patch I made on the Alesis Andromeda synthesizer.

This synth can replicate the architecture of the Yamaha CS-80 very well since it can add sine waves post-filter, used here, just like the CS-80. It also features the famous ribbon cable.

Well, these aren't views ahead or above, although there are some to come.

These are the results of finding some old, old pictures from Palestine and stitching them together. The building in the picture on the right was still unfinished a dozen years later, according to Google Maps.

So. Has ANYBODY read a story where a bona fide Butler Did It?

I've got one in mind where somebody pretending to be a butler did it – have I just avoided all the books that made it a cliche?

[Quick mockup. Butler fudged by AI because I couldn't find clipart and didn't have the time to draw ]

I've been making do with sitting by a window for the last couple of days, but today was way better first thing.

Here we have the view ahead and the view above

A slightly offset View Ahead, View Above.
'Ahead' is a head, or at least a face, over an archway. There's not much in the way of sky visible, so I headed around the corner for a better view of 'upwards'.

With thanks!
I finally looked up why bridges were roofed in.

Adding a roof kept the timber dry, extending the bridge’s life significantly. Uncovered wooden bridges might last just 1 to 2 decades, whereas some of America’s original covered bridges remain intact after almost 20.
Neat.

Today's view ahead.
Why so urban?

I just dropped the car off for its MOT test. Fingers crossed!

This was definitely a view ahead.
I walked over a rise on a grey and grotty day to find a bright (if dead) leaf flapping from the drying thistle heads.
