Until they fear us more than they fear him, the Congress will continue to cave. I don't know the way to get there, but we definitely need to "help" them grow a backbone, and quick!

Admittedly, I've not been birding much lately. More I've been protecting baby wildlife from its own incompetence, which often means rescuing raccoons and possums from trash cans, etc.
But, after observing this nest in the winter unoccupied, I did get to see a stork family.
