How many people could have become or stayed housed? How many people are living on the streets right now because the mayor found out there was $12M for housing and told everyone to keep it quiet? It’s unconscionable.

I just keep getting madder about this. Income inequality has made 60% AMI housing unaffordable to households who can’t afford rent, the cost of everything is going up, people are dying on the streets, and these fools were sitting on $12M for housing.

We elected a council full of people who want to solve problems and a mayor who wants to hide $12M to fund his own priorities, whether or not they work. We cannot let this moment pass without a reckoning.
