The most interesting parts of the Oscars are often the things you get wrong. So I need to eat a little crow for thinking that Demi Moore's awards narrative would prove irresistible. The season is so long that maybe voters thought, okay, she got her prizes, good enough. Plus, they just loved Anora!

There's something too on the nose for Demi Moore to lose an Oscar to a 25 y/o after this movie season. Mikey was great but I'm heartbroken for Demi.
