My favorite building tile in my OG Castles of Burgundy is the one that got dropped in a glass of red wine. Every time that slightly tinted tile gets pulled out of the bag it reminds me of a very fun night with a good friend.
You can spill a drink near a board game.

It's not something you will want to do, but guess what?

Board games can take it. Just mop things up with a paper towel and everything will be a OK.

Don't ever use "But mah boardgames" as an excuse to deny your guests food and drink. That's being a dick.

Saltfjord is a very cool euro smorgasbord of mechanisms that run smoothly and interconnect nicely. Nice looking to boot.

The Traders expansion adds some nice seasoning to Ra by @25thcentury.games.

Not sure if it was the expansion or the time since I’ve played it but this was one of my favorite plays of the game ever.

I got introduced to Super Motherload by @roxley.bsky.social last night. Why have I never heard of this? Super cool deck builder where your deck is built by mining for precious metals with a tile placement puzzle with shifting shared objectives.

Keep them in mind when shopping!
Mischief Toy Store in St. Paul has until Wednesday to turn over employment records to the Department of Homeland Security as part of a surprise audit launched Friday, just hours after one of the shop's owners criticized ICE agents during a television interview. bit.ly/4r5AFol

I haven’t listened to this episode yet but BGB was one of the podcasts that inspired BGHT so if somehow you’ve never listened check ‘em out.
This was so much fun to do. You may want to listen to the previous two episodes first, because it sets up a lot of the disaster to come.
Podcast! It's maybe one of the most profoundly silly things we've done, but the important thing is we did it. Our collaborative, and most importantly, DEFINITIVE top ten games of all-time.

This was an Informative thread that overlaps a bit in our discussion on this week's episode if you want another perspective.
Occasionally, over the years, we have dabbled with doing the odd video for kickstarter. They were never great fits because we actually do reviews on the channel, not hype content, so numerous publishers balked at me saying their game wasn't perfect

But 2025 was an absolute shit show for KS and 3MBG
