We live in a car-centric city and have one car. Families like ours & those without cars have minimal options in Tampa. That was on my mind when I proposed moving $1.5M from EV charging stations to making our busiest route fare-free with 15-min headways. This will impact the entire city!
Did I have to get up early to go drop the car off at the shop way up on Bearss? Sure. Was I able to get back home quickly & easily for $2.00 on the HART #1 line? Yep. Will that bus be FREE and on an every-15-minutes schedule for all of 2025 thanks to @lynnhurtak.com? Absolutely!
