Pardoned by Trump after convicted of 12 counts of bank fraud and tax evasion. Don’t have to pay back $17.8 million in restitution or serve 12 year sentence. Not Somalis.

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

Also, every federal agent or employee who redacted the Epstein Files without coming forward is guilty of conspiracy to rape and traffic children. They are 100% complicit and should be charged accordingly. The entire Federal government is filled with child rapists.

This was always part of their policy. The regime couldn't care less about the lives of people they never even considered human.

This just makes me absurdly happy 😭
It was such a joy to celebrate Hanukkah with Mandy, Kathryn and their son, Gideon. As Jewish New Yorkers across our city prepare to light candles and mark the seventh night today, I wish you and your families a Hanukkah full of light and love.

Boomer complaint of the day: voice messages ---> banned.
Contrary to belief they're NOT more efficient. People ramble on 2-3x longer than necessary. Figure out your point and send it in a couple sentences. Don't make me sit there listening to 4 whole minutes of your verbal vomit.

While companies continue to ram AI tech down our throats, all this old soul wants is for someone, anyone, to evolve printers out of the 90s. Like literally, we can send rockets to the moon but printers have not improved in 30 years.
The one we bought yesterday even still came with a CD FRICKEN ROM

i wonder how much of Americans' views on driving vs. transit would change if they had to pay for gas/insurance/etc every time they turned on the engine

"i'm not paying $5 to take the train to work twice a day when i can just drive" is a genuine opinion held by so many people

Social Security is not dying. It is being starved. We need it, the rich do not. The cap that shields the wealthy from paying more is a wall made up of greed. Lift it & the system is reborn. Voters keep choosing those who serve the wealthy, then wonder why the table is empty. #ProtectSocialSecurity

Big Oil is using native advertising to "disguise their ads in news outlets" and promote "controversial technologies like carbon capture as climate solutions, portray fossil fuel companies as climate-friendly, or misrepresent their role in the energy transition" finds author @commscholar.bsky.social.
These ads are poisoning trust in media
‘Native advertising' allows fossil fuel companies to disguise their ads in news outlets. A new book argues the practice undermines journalistic credibility.
