Seeing this makes me think about the Endless Tower concept for Dragon's Dogma.

I hope someone steals this deranged idea.

My increasingly common rebuttal to a lot of media criticism (especially the doom-laden stuff) is simply 'That's not true, you're just depressed'.

Don't write when you're sad. Have a snack, pet a kitten/puppy/other friend-shaped creature, take a walk, and clear your head first.

I see everyone's losing their shit because a game studio has admitted that they use normal technology normally to do normal things

just move to a hippie commune and stop posting on the evil, electricity-using, technological internet. go start a druid coven. let the rest of us live in society.

The first big early access update for Project Silverfish just dropped today, too! A bunch of new areas and a total economy and loot rework.

An ambitious but very slick STALKER-like from a near-solo developer. Amazing that it even exists, and even more impressive that it looks and feels great.

Really nice to see more people checking out Shadow Labyrinth, probably this year's most underrated metroidvania in a year absolutely JAM PACKED with them.

Literally. The review ratings - professional and otherwise - are terrible, but it's cool!

This year was so dense with games that I was sure one of my summer favourites actually came out last year.
