After this presidency, Europe's relationship with the US must be utterly different. Europe can no longer rely on a flakey ally. There is no going back.

🥚 We live in barbarism.

No abortion, health insurance, or affordable childcare for you but please feel free, young lady, to endure a pregnancy, risk your life in childbirth, and throw your baby in a box so rich people can have it.

America's strategic mistake is to allow businessmen to become rich enough to be oligarchs and undermine democracy. Over the next 50 years the US will consume itself from the inside.

Europe knows stability requires no one country or person to be too powerful. That is why Russia must be stopped.

Is tax theft? Many people think so.

In this video, I explain why the popular claim “it’s my money, why should the government take it?” is based on a fundamental mistake.

If you care about public services, this is the conversation we need to have.

1. This short thread is about what I see as a serious breach of journalistic ethics, in the making of Sofia Pineda Ochoa’s online documentary Greenwashed. She interviewed me for the film, but neither before, during or after was I given any idea I would be its target. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjWU...

And in response to headlines like "there is no need for masks", here is the 1 minutes from my interview where I discuss basic preventative measures (including masks!).

Also note that NHS stats like A&E and Ambulance waits are lower than same time 3 years ago, even with earlier flu wave.

The UK’s private schools are some of the most revered educational institutions in the world. Many are utilising their renown to open franchise schools overseas. But how easy is it to maintain the same standards thousands of miles away?

Grok is an enemy of truth. It should be banned in the UK before it (ie Elon Musk) destroys our democracy.
This is fucking grim. Somebody invented a white guy, an "IT professional" named Edward Crabtree, who stopped the Bondi shooting and spread it all over the internet, which was picked up by AI agents and slop aggregation sites.

The real hero is a fruit stand owner named Ahmed el Ahmed.
