I hate pickles. Especially wet ones that leak onto my chips or fries, making them inedible. Sometimes I forget to say NO PICKLES. One time a chef created a butterfly with a sloppy wet pickle for the body and bread for wings. Anyway, I've been messing around with watercolors. This is my Guernica.

If you find a tiny Troy in your hair, put it in a jar of rubbing alcohol and bring it to your doctor.

Wicked is a really good movie that will get 10+ Oscar nominations. It's about a college in a magical land where all the students are 34 years old.

Came back from grandmother's house. Through the woods and over the river.

48 unhinged minutes with “America’s First Family of Song.” “Mod” dance numbers; a comedy skit about two children who are cousins in a love triangle; a pedal steel guitar interlude; a surprise visit from Vietnam; a glowering woman born in the 19th century; this really has it all

Huge gritty win on the road. Big showing by Karaban, McNeely, and Hass. Had to overcome some brutal officiating, but some huge shotmaking down the stretch and taking care of the business at the foul line sealed the victory. A well earned holiday break -- six game winning streak.

Way back in 1990 I did some Christmas cards for a small greeting card company. Sharing them over the next few days. Enjoy (I think...)

"What if it's not good enough?"

Then you'll make it good enough.

"What if I'm not good enough?"

Then you'll get good enough.

"How will I get good enough?"

You start by making something. Then you make it good enough. When it's good enough, so are you.

Just. Keep. Writing.

You either like "The Polar Express" movie or you hate it. It's polarizing.

I observed three common plot points between "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "Deliverance."
1. A character plays the banjo.
2. A journey over water.
3. Someone makes pig noises.
