Where do things stand on the health care fight in Congress?
- Dems have a good plan that Republicans oppose
- Republicans can’t agree among themselves on a plan of their own
- Trump wants to stay on the sidelines
- consumers are quickly running out of calendar www.ms.now/rachel-maddo...
As Republicans reject bill to protect ACA subsidies, what happens now?
In a normal environment, a president would show some leadership and back a practical solution. In 2025, that's not happening.

Measles outbreaks are surging again, this time in South Carolina.

In normal times, we’d be hearing anticipatory guidance to the public on what to look out for and to encourage vaccination.

These are highly abnormal times and we are filling the void.

The GOP just blocked extending the ACA subsidies - again.

Making people’s healthcare skyrocket while you control the White House and both chambers of Congress seems like a great move for the midterms.

Its as simple as:
Today: Wage growth 4.1% (lowest since 2021) and inflation at 3.0%

This date in 2024: Wage goth 4.7% and inflation at 2.4%

So not only was it not a "disaster" but its significantly worse now then a year ago
