So a herd of bullocks broke through the allotment site's boundary hedge last night and caused lots of damage to plots. TBF I got off lightly compared to others and didn't lose any crops. Never a dull moment with an allotment!

Not having a head for heights, I've been putting off re-felting the roof of the shed on plot 1 for about 2 years. But after sheltering from the rain yesterday and having to dodge the various drips inside, I decided it had to be done. Never again 😂

On Samhain I sow my sweetpea seeds, in deep root-trainers. Once they've germinated I'll move them to the allotment greenhouse, where they'll grow over winter and be ready for planting out in March.
