Yes. But they are missing that much of this has to be performative. That’s what Trump is great at and Dems are awful at.

You can’t just tell voters , you have to know how to sell voters.

Trump gives sales pitches, Dems show charts. One goes viral. The other is ignored and forgotten
This was the way.

Awesome #CrUX update by the people from #Google (and also partially available in our free tool as well) 👏

This was added:
→ LCP image subparts
→ LCP resource types
→ Round Trip Time (RTT) tri-bins
→ RTT p75 and histograms
We added #LCP resource type already as well (see attached).

There are a number of announcements this month:

First up, we have added LCP image subparts to the CrUX API:
- Time to First Byte (TTFB)
- Resource load delay
- Resource load duration
- Element render delay

These are our recommended way of optimizing LCP: web.dev/articles/opt...

What a beautiful surprise to get these extra fields on CrUX APIs!

Absolutely fantastic work from the Chrome team, it's hard to describe how extremely useful it is to get this level of UX insight on almost any website, for free and without having to previously convince clients to setup monitoring

Pushing live production code cooked up by some young coders over a week of sleepness nights in place of a legacy system that is fundamental to the operation of the US government is against every programming best practice.

I was asked to do a reading from my book Your Roots Cast a Shadow, at a synagogue. I couldn't disclose the location and security greeted me at the door. Now I'm realizing it was the first talk where I felt fully comfortable....

Very excited to see how Baseline is starting to make the web ever-so-easier to build for!
Coolest thing ever🤩, our Baseline integration into RUMvision got featured as a use case web.dev/case-studies...

Not something I could have predicted when we started our startup 3 years ago, and was looking through web.dev as a source of info, which makes this even cooler! 🥳

Trump just launched a trade war against Canada over fentanyl. The US seized - wait for it - 43 pounds at the US-Canada border last year.

43 pounds.

Kind of mind-boggling how many elected Dems still want to pretend they're dealing with Ronald Reagan's Republican party - not that it was full of peaches - rather than something much darker. There's a reason reactionary and conservative politics are usually considered distinct.

The reasons the US gives for banning tiktok are silly but there is a best case scenario where it is banned, people realise it was a good move, other countries follow suit, the global brainrot lifts, people start reading books, watching long thoughtful videos, doing pottery, yoga, dancing in 16:9…

Not entirely confident that heaping massive tax cuts onto billionaires is going to lower the price of eggs.
There it is.

Trump’s Treasury nominee just said “extending” Trump’s tax handouts for billionaires is their TOP priority: “This is the single most important economic issue of the day.”
