Nothing is more embarrassing to me than showing up at a store just before they open. I just assume they’re inside, pointing at me through the locked door, laughing about how badly I want batteries or socks or whatever.

It's so irritating when the kids experience existential crises on a road trip and there's not a humbling natural landmark for another 60 miles.

What bugs me about the intentional devaluing of art by tech is that almost anyone can actually learn how to art. Like, it takes time, and failures abound, but the myth that some people just pop out of the womb with a can or can't stamped on their heads is a crock.

Assuming all fanfiction is written poorly really just shows you've never been caught in the chokehold of a 150k slowburn that changed the course of your life at 2:40am written by someone whose username has 4 Zs in it and they only wrote one fic and then vanished like an ethereal legend.

I am a big advocate for preserving video games.
So it's always awesome to see groups of people doing just that.
Even random old mobile games that people would neglect, are getting preserved and that's really cool to me

Fanfiction etiquette is incredibly simple, actually. Don't like it, don't read it. No one is forcing you to, which is why it looks ridiculous to complain about it, especially if you were content warned. AO3 tags + "exclude" is one of the greatest reading tools ever. Use them properly and voila!
