Over the last decade, I’ve seen political events in the US that I never thought I’d see in my lifetime—mostly related to the orange man—Will/can the US (and various other nations) survive another four years?
You’ve GOT to be kidding me!

Watching all these centrist pundits stress the “civility” of Charlie Kirk’s style without addressing the ugliness of his substance is giving me a renewed appreciation of how the civil, polite White Citizens’ Councils conned the same crowd into thinking they were distinct from the cruder Klan.

We hear that immigrants are "freeloaders," yet they're being arrested at their workplaces and LA's economy is floundering without them.

With the tragic assassination of a Minnesota Democratic leader, I’m going to underline this point again.
I know there's a lot going on, but the Secretary of Homeland Security declaring that federal troops are in California and Los Angeles to "liberate" the state and city from its duly-elected leaders really is a fourteen-alarm fire.
It's mind-blowing how little attention this extraordinary statement has received. It's briefly mentioned in a couple news articles, but this MSNBC opinion piece is the only extended discussion of it I've seen: www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnb...

The riot is your goons assaulting community and labor leaders unprovoked. The looter is you raiding the hardworking tax payers of our state - stealing their federal taxes and depriving them of the basic services they’ve paid for.

PREACH!!!
Interesting that if you shop at Whole Foods, a lot of money is spent making it feel like a place that respects workers and embraces progressive values, but it is not.

Costco just feels like a warehouse but they treat their workers pretty well and has rejected anti-DEI BS

We tried mass tariffs in 1828, and it crashed the economy. We tried again in 1930, and it crashed the economy.

But they’ll just blame diversity rather than their own incompetence.
To review, the FAA administrator was forced out because of a business vendetta of Elon Musk’s, Trump froze the hiring of new ATCs despite staff shortages, Musk launched an underhanded attempt to hollow out the whole federal workforce, and then the first US airliner crashed in 16 years.
