Had lunch on Lake Merritt today with this guy, my youngest son. I’m so proud of the kind, funny and interesting man he has grown to be. Also he says that since he dyed his hair red, people my age (older Gen X) tell him he looks like David Bowie, which he finds flattering and amusing.

Love this piece by @marisakabas.bsky.social. I’ve been in this situation many times before @readfrontier.bsky.social and it’s infuriating. It’s not that hard to be generous with credit at or near the top of a story.
