I started a thread about tracing ref in the middle of another thread, so I'm reposting the start of that one here. So, some thoughts about drawing directly over reference:
Sometimes I'll snap a reference photo for what I need and draw over the top of it to get certain aspects of the pose (here, the arms & chest & overall proportions). Not all that many folks I draw are built like me, but for Landsknechts, not-buff gladiators, and other burly-ish fellas, it's helpful!

This genre of simulator is becoming my go to place to play.
Health goes down when you’re hurt, but also when you exert yourself, like when you’re running or climbing. You’ll also lose health/stamina when you’re super hungry, thirsty, or cold, so be sure to rest up before climbing in Cairn!
