Today in US History: On Feb. 3, 1870, the 15th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified, granted black men the right to vote. It was passed by Congress on February 26, 1869. Black Americans were set free by the 13th amendment. The 14th Amendment guaranteed citizenship.

We possess the technology to create products that nearly never break. We were doing it in the 70's & 80's.

Then came 'planned obsolescence' - intentionally designing products to become obsolete or break quickly within a set time frame.

So true. The more you delve into nuance and contexts, the narrower your span of confidence. But I don’t think that’s a bad thing. We can be sure that our pattern of inquiry is the right path at least.
