It may look nondescript but this is one of the easiest mushrooms to ID in the field 🍄📷 Collybia tuberosa grows in large dense clusters from the decaying fruit bodies of other mushrooms!!!

You differentiate it from similar species by the presence of the appleseed-like sclerotia they arise from

almost like a family photo
A family of ink cap mushrooms sits among dry orange leaves. The leaves are stained in swamp green and light pink. The far back is decorated by smaller blue leaves in thin curled branches. The smaller mushrooms are lighter and are displayed at the front. The taller ones are all gathered together at the center, and each of them presents a different ink stain pattern in their caps while wearing a cyan-green spectral crown; the stains are curly, thick and thin, and some resemble facial expressions.
