O'Dea, Ali, and now Aponte-Lipski give Solomon validators in neighborhoods outside his (extremely anti-HCDO) downtown base where the machine is still dominant but clearly beatable and in decline. a low-turnout runoff against McGreevey already favored Solomon but this helps for a citywide landslide.
