A great afternoon celebrating the award of our MRC CoRE in person. We heard about projects spanning our discovery pipeline, from ExWAS and mechanistic barrier immunology, to potential therapeutic angles for IBD and machine learning for diagnostics.

A small primer on the #NobelPrize awarded to Mary E. Brunkow, Fred Ramsdell and Shimon Sakaguchi today. This prize was for combining two separate fields of immunology research - genetic research on IPEX and immunology research of regulatory T cells (#Tregs), with enormous impact on biology/medicine

We had a fab time at our student symposium (KISS2025) this week! We really enjoyed everyone’s talks and poster presentations, with some super exciting keynote speakers! Amit, Natasha, and Rachel gave great overview talks and poster presentations on their DPhil projects👩‍🔬🧠
