You have the right to call President Donald Trump a fascist.

Opinion | Free speech includes the right to call political opponents 'fascists'
Top Trump officials say heated political rhetoric is illegal “incitement.” They're wrong — it’s free speech.

This, from @kenwhite.bsky.social in @theunpopulist.net, is a genuine must-read. If the current state of free speech discourse interests you—and especially if it infuriates you—this is a critical reframe steering us away from the idea that bad-faith actors are actually our free speech heroes.

You’ve probably heard the term later abortion, but many use the term with a lot of assumption and little explanation. Our latest video breaks it down: why people seek abortions later in pregnancy, the barriers they face, and why access to this care is essential.

The @thenvindy.bsky.social is reporting that the @northcarolinagop.bsky.social was wiring cash directly to Kash Patel back in May/June 2024 while he was living in Las Vegas in a time share owned by a GOP mega-donor.

Huh. 🤔

More of this, please! We need law professors with integrity and backbone to call out colleagues who attempt to launder Trump’s unconstitutional cruelty through bullshit originalism. And to do so in blunt terms without the cloak of polite formalisms that obscure the depths of hackery on display.

I'm genuinely disheartened by the lack of reviews/coverage for "Eyes on the Prize III," which premieres on HBO tonight.

Sigh. This is, I guess, a "me" problem. But nothing you could watch this week is better.

Anyway... ICYMI, my review:

The GOP passed a budget resolution last night that will gut Medicaid, SNAP, and other vital programs — as 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

Why? To finance tax cuts for the top 1%.
