I’ve also noticed that I am often immobilized by doomscrolling. Even when I walk away from it, I carry a lingering sense of overwhelm and despair that can take hours to shake off. For a lot of people, that’s basically a permanent state.

In 2022, undocumented immigrants paid a higher tax rate than 283 Fortune 500 corporations.

The immigrants paid $96.7 billion in taxes. The corporations paid just $3.7 billion in federal income tax on $200 billion of profits.

Immigrants aren't the problem, corporations are.
