I’ve also noticed that I am often immobilized by doomscrolling. Even when I walk away from it, I carry a lingering sense of overwhelm and despair that can take hours to shake off. For a lot of people, that’s basically a permanent state.

We are not a Greek chorus. We are the players on the stage.
