No idea why an Afghan refugee shot National Guard soldiers within walking distance of the White House, but this new USCIS directive was revealed on Monday. Worth noting.

All this is being widely mocked as a gaffe: Doesn’t suggesting we have “no” talented people here undercut “America First”? But we should also see it as something else: an expression of Trump’s growing political weakness on the broader immigration issue. If I were @schumer.senate.gov, I would not agree to help Republicans fund this regime on the "promise" of an ACA vote at a later date. It didn't work the last time when they promised to fund DC. It won't work this time either. The House won't touch it.
