An amazing interaction at FurTheMore this weekend when a mother and daughter recognized me not from the internet or another furry convention but from mascot work I did for a local NJ cat convention 7 years ago! She was 8 or 9 at the time. We did the same pose and took another picture together.

It should terrify everyone that a green card holder was black bagged and disappeared to Louisiana simply for having opinions this administration dislikes. They're building the prisons and camps to do it to citizens. The time to stand up to this is now.
Until last night, the ICE detainee locator stated Khalil was at Elizabeth, NJ—even though his wife had been unable to find him there yesterday. This morning, his location has been updated to Jena — a very remote, GEO group-run facility in the middle of rural Louisiana.

Yes. If DHS can barge in, say your visa was revoked, be told you have a green card, say it's revoked too, and then disappear you so that neither your lawyer nor your family can find you, then all the guardrails are gone. There is no policy, practice, or law protecting anyone.
