Trump Did This…

Allies don’t trust us with their intelligence. That doesn’t just hurt them—it hurts us.

Trump and his reckless security advisers passing secret information on Signal don’t see their actions as a problem—but our allies do.

First off, Pete Hegseth is a disgrace and should be fired.

Second, instead of being an asshole and trash-talking the journalist, he should be thanking him for not posting anything top-secret that’s still to come.

Medicaid supports nearly half of all U.S. births and provides two-thirds of nursing home care for our seniors. Yet GOP leaders are pushing a budget plan that would gut this vital lifeline to fund more tax cuts for the top 1%. Is this the future we want for our most vulnerable?

Two add’l Air Force one jets ($4B), Super Bowl($15-20M), Daytona 500 ($5M), numerous trips to MAL to play golf ($3.5M each trip). Seems like Trump really isn’t that worried about frivolous spending of taxpayer money.

Trump admin now requires loyalty to Trump as a key hiring factor for gov jobs—blatant Hatch Act violation. The law protects federal employees from political coercion. There must be a solid line between partisan politics and unbiased governance. #HatchAct

You contribute to Social Security your whole working life. The govt uses your money without paying you interest and makes you pay taxes instead. Invested money would have grown significantly. It’s a pretty raw deal when you think about it. Now Republicans want to take it from you.

Elon shared a tweet suggesting it may be time to defy the courts. He also boosted Trump allies who are seething over these rulings. All that amounts to a pretty dark threat from Musk: He and MAGA appear to be steeling themselves to defy judicial rulings.

The CFPB has:

-Returned $20B to victims of financial fraud
-Cracked down on junk fees
-Fought against politically-motivated debanking
-Protected veterans from predatory lenders
-Protected consumers' data from corporate abuse

Oligarchs want to reverse all of this.
Laws Are Not Suggestions: How the CFPB Is Delivering for the American People - American Economic Liberties Project
Under Director Rohit Chopra, the CFPB has held scammers like Wells Fargo accountable, returning billions of dollars of Americans’ hard-earned money to their bank accounts; fought back against Wall Street and Big Tech’s discriminatory and anti-competitive behavior; ensured violating the law can no longer be written off as just a “cost of doing business;” and restored financial freedom to millions of Americans held hostage by the credit reporting cartel.

The ultra-wealthy are now able to buy media empires, USSC justices, & politicians so they can mold the world to enrich themselves while erasing the middle class. This means taking over the govt and making laws to benefit only the rich. Removing our society’s safety nets for the poor. It’s shameful.
The world’s richest 1% have more wealth than the bottom 95% put together, according to Oxfam.

There is no moral justification for this extraordinary level of inequality.

It's distorting politics, rigging our markets, and granting unprecedented power to a handful of people.
