My dad was an air traffic controller at O’Hare back before computers. He handled the fly-over traffic. Highly stressful job. Looking back, I think he had PTSD of sorts from near misses and not being able to trust the person that was handing him off the planes. He was subject to forced retirement.

He’s still on social media and I believe he’s thinking about running for Senator in my home state of Michigan as current Senator Gary Peters in not running for re-election in 2026. Governor Whitmer’s term is up in 2026 too. Go Pete! 💙
